Post Doctoral Fellow - Human Genetics
The Sloan Lab at Emory University is recruiting a highly motivated and creative scientist to join our team as a Postdoctoral fellow. Our group is interested in human brain development and understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie neurodevelopmental disorders. We utilize human pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to model human nervous system development and employ a diverse range of cell culture, molecular biology, and genomic approaches. The currently available position will take the lead on an NIMH-funded R01 project investigating lineage commitment during early neurodevelopment and the use of bioengineering tools to build more sophisticated organoid models.
