Genetic Counselor – Testing & Innovation Upstate Medical University is looking for a Genetic Counselor to join their dynamic team of expert professionals. The Genetic Counselor will work in consultation with laboratory medicine to provide timely and accurate patient care to laboratory personnel and referring clinicians. The Genetic Counselor's primary responsibilities will be to interpret and author constitutional microarray (CMA) results for director sign-out, identify appropriate genetic testing for patients and communicate that to ordering clinicians, and be an information resource for clinicians with patients awaiting results from cytogenetic and/or molecular genetic testing.
