Genetic Counselor
Job Summary: The Genetic Counselor will be responsible for providing support services for Advanced Medical Genetics. They will provide genetic counseling and support for adult, pediatric, cardiac, cancer, and metabolic patients. They will assess and analyze data to provide individuals and family members risk factors for specific disorders, syndromes and procedures. The genetic counselor will provide patients with education, treatment plans and reassurance regarding genetic and inherited risks as well as facilitate and interpret all testing and results.
