Founding Program Director, Master of Genetic Counseling
This position offers a unique opportunity to spearhead creation of a new Master’s degree program in Genetic Counseling at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), located in the greater Kansas City area. The program will be housed in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) in the School of Health Professions (SHP) to leverage the strong departmental support system and infrastructure, collaborative opportunities for teaching and research, and an enthusiastic and collegial work environment. This will be the first genetic counseling program in the state of Kansas.
