Our Genetics Team
Our multidisciplinary team serves central and rural Minnesota through both in-person visits and telehealth genetic counseling. Join a team of six Genetic Counselors to provide pre-conceptual, prenatal, pediatric, adult, cardiac, and cancer counseling. Position Summary
- Work in a variety of areas including pre-conceptual, prenatal, pediatric, adult, cardiac, and cancer counseling. Includes the advantage to focus on one specialty while being cross trained to other areas.
- This counselor will provide expertise in clinical genetics to counsel and support individuals and families on the implications of genetic conditions and traits.
- The genetic counselor will also be involved in educating providers and training genetic counseling students, and keeping the local community updated on current guidelines for genetic risk recommendations.

Qualifications
- Master's degree from an American Board of Genetic Counseling accredited genetic counseling program required.
- Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling required.
- Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice within 6 months of completing Genetic Counseling degree.
*$7,500 Sign-on Bonus available! Sign-on bonus requirements: To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
