Genetic Counselor Faculty Appointment
The Institute for Genomic Medicine (IGM) at Columbia University is a program that comprehensively integrates genetics and genomics into research, training and patient care. The IGM has a team of genetic counselors that plays a key role in the interface of patients, physicians, and researchers. Under supervision of the Co-Directors of Genetic Counseling at the IGM, the genetic counselor will have both clinical and research responsibilities. Clinical responsibilities include providing genetic counseling to patients and family members in subspecialty clinics.
