Cancer Genetic Counselor
This position involves providing genetic counseling for individuals seen in the Indiana University Health Cancer Program. This newly established program provides support and management to those at high risk for developing cancer, due to identification of an underlying germline predisposition, to take a comprehensive approach to their long term management.  The genetic counselor in this role will educate individuals and their families regarding the outcome of germline genetic testing, including the natural history of the condition and significance for at-risk family members. This role therefore will include, but is not limited to, obtaining personal and family medical history information, requesting and reviewing relevant medical records, and communicating genetic risk factors and clinic
