HealthPartners is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Genetic Counselor to join our team.
In this role, you will work with our Park Nicollet Maternal Fetal Medicine team, providing genetic counseling services for patients who are pregnant, considering pregnancy or have had pregnancy loss, helping them make genetic testing decisions and navigate genetic testing results.
You will also enjoy opportunities for connection and collaboration with genetic counselors across our organization, working together to ensure the highest level of genetic testing services and support for all of our genetic counseling patients.

Provides genetic counseling for patients under the supervision of a physician or in consult with a physician. Provides high quality care in accordance with the National Society of Genetic Counselors and Code of Ethics.
Education/Experience: Graduate from an accredited master's level genetic counseling program. Two or more years of supervised experience preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service. • Strong clinical, human relations, verbal and written communication skills. • American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics certificate upon hire. • Fulfill the expectations for a Genetic Counselor as outlined by the American Board of Genetic Counseling. • Licensed as a Genetic Counselor by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
