SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position plays a vital role in the daily operation of the Penn State Health St. Joseph Cancer Risk Genetics Program(s) and is an integral member of the team. Under the direct supervision of the RN Cancer Risk Evaluation Program Manager, this person provides support services critical to the efficient functioning of the program, including all necessary intake functions, outreach and education functions, as well as coordination of patient visits and preparation of patient charts for those visits. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High School diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years of relevant experience

Experience in Healthcare field required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Working knowledge of various insurances and preauthorization requirements, as well as referral procedures.
