We are searching for a well-rounded genetic counselor to add to our growing CentraCare Genetic Counseling program and to join us in changing the lives of our patients and their families. Our multidisciplinary team serves central and rural Minnesota through both in-person visits and telehealth genetic counseling. We are seeking a full-time clinical Genetic Counselor to join a team of six other Genetic Counselors to provide pre-conceptual, prenatal, pediatric, adult, cardiac, and cancer counseling. This counselor will provide expertise in clinical genetics to counsel and support individuals and families on the implications of genetic conditions and traits. The genetic counselor will also be involved in educating providers and training genetic counseling students, and keeping the local community updated on current guidelines for genetic risk recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree from an American Board of Genetic Counseling accredited genetic counseling program required.
• Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling required.
• Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice within 6 months of completing Genetic Counseling degree.

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus available! To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
