The Center for Rare Disease Therapy at UPMC Children’s is among 31 centers nationwide named a National Organization of Rare Diseases (NORD) Center of Excellence. The coordinator of the Center for Rare Disease Therapy (CRDT) plays an indispensable role in directing the day-to-day functions of the CRDT. UPMC CHILDRENS HOSPITAL OF PITTSBURGH CRDT COORDINATOR

Leverage your patient care experience and psychosocial skill set to provide the best care to patients who come to UPMC for diagnosis, management, and treatment of rare diseases. Develop clinical workflows, SOPs, marketing and educational materials for professionals and patients. Work with professionals and families from all over the world to advance knowledge and opportunities for clinical research networks. Requirements:

• Master of Science in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling from an American Board of Genetics Counseling (ABGC) accredited institution
• Five (5) years' experience as a genetic counselor required.
• PA licensed Genetic Counselor
