If selected, you'll play a key role in extending our cancer care services for Eastside residents (East King County and Snohomish County, Washington). You'll work in our state-of-the art cancer center with the potential for some telemedicine capabilities.
While your primary focus will be on direct patient care, you will have some administrative, and/or research responsibilities. As part of an inter-disciplinary team, you'll consult with Overlake physicians, community providers, other genetic counselors and geneticists regarding highly specialized genetic testing and follow-up. You'll also serve as a liaison between administration, laboratory and clinical staff.

A Master's or Doctorate Degree in genetic counseling from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling (ACGC) is required. You will also need a Washington State Genetic Counseling License (GT), Board certification as a genetic counselor and at least 3 years of experience as a genetic counselor. (Washington license is not required at the time of application.)
