We are seeking a Prenatal Genetic Counselor to provide expert counseling and work alongside other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-test and post-test genetic counseling to help patients understand the benefits/limitations of testing, test results and make informed medical decisions.
• Provide genetic counseling support to physicians and laboratory staff as needed.
• Contribute to the establishment of genetic counseling best practices for telehealth.
• Establish relationships and work with laboratory staff, physicians to provide patients with the best possible care.
• Assist with the development and validation of genetic counseling products as needed.
• Assess recurrence risk and recommend medical or genetic testing based on analysis of the risk, benefit, and cost.
• Interact with the genetics and fertility community as well as patient advocacy groups through social media.
