Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is expanding its genetic program. Join our team – as a full-time Genetic Counselor. This position focuses on genetic counseling service in the oncology setting. Responsibilities will include assessment, development of pedigree, identification and coordination of testing including prior authorization, report production, pre- and post-test counseling, communication with referring providers and community education.

Candidates must have a master’s degree in Genetic Counseling and be genetic counselor certification eligible. At minimum a successful candidate will have at least one internship in an oncology setting along with a strong interest in developing an expanded cancer genetic program
