The Cleveland Clinic Center for Personalized Genetic Healthcare (CPGH) seeks two new, full-time clinical genetic counselors to join our growing team:
-Prenatal genetic counselor (full-time)
-Cardiovascular genetic counselor (full-time)
Genetic counselors at the Cleveland Clinic work both autonomously and in collaboration with other CPGH providers as well as with physicians from our partner institutes, including the Women's Health Institute and the Heart, Vascular, and Thoracic Institute. CPGH GCs take on multi-faceted roles in clinical care, research, and/or education. Responsibilities include providing genetic counseling to adult and pediatric patients, as applicable, with varying indications, as well as participation in specialty clinics. Participation in medical and community-based education and/or research is encouraged.
CPGH is proud to host a team of 19 genetic counselors and 10 MD geneticists representing a variety of backgrounds, sub-specialties, and years of experience.
Qualified candidates will have a master's degree from an accredited genetic counseling training program (or be in the process of completion for 2020). Candidates should be ABGC board-eligible or certified and Ohio Medical Board licensed or eligible. New graduates are expected to obtain ABGC certification within one year of date of hire. CPGH supports board certification and licensure fees and continuing education for its providers.
Additional Salary Information: Cleveland Clinic has five GC experience and salary levels based on applicable years of experience
