Join our team of 15 prenatal and cancer genetic counselors in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at UTHealth.
We are recruiting for a genetic counselor to join our UT Prenatal Genetic Counseling Division as a clinical genetic counselor. The role consists of providing care in our busy clinical service, which includes opportunity for prenatal counseling.
Components of the position:
1.0 FTE clinical role for entry level counselor
Opportunities as a Faculty member in the UT Genetic Counseling Training Program - supervision, teaching and mentorship
Research and professional volunteer work supported and encouraged
For an experienced genetic counselor: Potential 0.2 FTE dedicated to UT GCP Coordination of External Rotations - may be paired with clinical work to reach a full time position
