The pupose of this position is to provide comprehensive genetic counseling services for pediatric clinics. Provide teaching and supervision services as needed for pediatric residents and genetic counseling students rotating through the division. Coordinate special projects, programs and or clinics with assigned services. Participate in the development of new programs and their implementation.
Minimum Education: Master's degree or equivalent in Genetics Counseling. Board certified or Board eligible Genetic Counseling, ABMG or ABGC.
Minimum Experience: Experience in a medical or other clinical setting, perferably in a medical genetic clinical service.
Knowledge/Skills: Proficiency with PC word-processing, spreadsheets. Effective written and verbal skills. Excellent leadership skills.
