Ability to manage a research project, including timelines and budgets
Deep and broad knowledge of genetics
Ability to read current literature and keep up to date on genetic discoveries
Ability to tailor, translate and communicate complex information in a simple, relevant way for a broad range of audiences (researchers, research participants, patients and healthcare professionals)
Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness
Self-motivated with ability to complete research project objectives with minimal supervision
Ability to dissect and analyze a complex problem
In-depth knowledge of healthcare delivery and research process
Demonstrates communication that supports a culture of Service Excellence
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires graduate degree in genetic counseling from an ABGC accredited college/university
