The Strategic Sourcing Manager/Program Manager will organize, promote and implement effective programmatic initiatives to support the Procurement & Supply Chain team regarding sourcing and savings initiatives and other related strategic projects.
Responsibilities will also include managing assigned spend categories and the end to end sourcing process, including RFx (Request for Information, Request for Proposals, etc.) execution, stakeholder management, category plan initiative execution assistance across multiple indirect categories of spend, and high complexity contracting efforts with limited leadership oversight. The Strategic Sourcing Manager/Program Manager will act as the single point of contact for business stakeholders and external vendors. The Strategic Sourcing Manage/Program Manager will also perform ad-hoc reporting, analysis, contract management and supplier relationship management.
More specifically the duties include:
ï¿½ Tracking and reporting savings initiatives progress to target for the Procurement and Supply Chain team
ï¿½ Executive reporting including savings achieved to date compared to target, savings initiative pipeline, spend under management and other adhoc reporting
ï¿½ Managing the end to end sourcing process including leading requirements definition discussions with stakeholders and budget owners
ï¿½ Managing the end to end sourcing process including leading requirements definition discussions with stakeholders and budget owners and RFx development & execution such as, scorecard development, stakeholder scoring analysis, vendor risk management coordination and all external vendor communications.
ï¿½ Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the sourcing process.
ï¿½ Leverage professional sourcing experience to assist in the execution of the category plan, specifically the sourcing activity (RFx, business term negotiation, contracting) resulting from the successful execution of category and subcategory management
ï¿½ Take lead navigating the business unit and external supplier through the sourcing process.
ï¿½ Lead and manage negotiations for high complexity contract requests (Master Service Agreements (MSA), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), ï¿½ Amendments, Statements of Work (SOW), Work Orders (WO)), independently, with little guidance from leadership.
ï¿½ Support leadership in preparing ad-hoc, project based RFx presentation materials (business recommendations, savings projections) for budget owners and department heads including in depth analyses.
ï¿½ Contract management and supplier relationship management including conducting periodic business reviews with strategic suppliers
ï¿½ Delivers to savings targets
ï¿½ Program manage strategic initiatives at the enterprise level
Bachelorï¿½s Degree in business, finance or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience with minimum 10 yearsï¿½ experience in a program management and strategic sourcing or procurement role required.
Project Management Professional or Certified Project Manager preferred, experience with contract management tools and ERP Procurement and Supply Chain systems
Requires advanced proficiency in Excel and tools for creating dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Qlick, etc)
