The Prenatal Genetic Counselor provides integral and compassionate medical/clinical genetic counseling services to individuals and families with a known or suspected inherited condition. The PGC effectively communicates vital information about specific conditions, coordinates genetic testing, determines the needs of the patient and families, and strategizes with the Physician to make appropriate referrals based on evaluations.

Required - Master’s degree from an accredited training program in Genetic Counseling
Required - None.
Preferred- Post graduate clinical experience as a genetic counselor.
Required - Eligible for Board Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and/or the American Board of Medical Genetics; Board Certification required within two years of hire.
