This position will be responsible for managing the financial operations in the Corporate IT dept. The areas over seen are invoice processing, journal entry preparation and review, forecasting, budgeting, modeling and analysis performed around the various areas of IT. This position will be responsible for oversight on the creation and maintaining a system for IT planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for assigned Corporate IT areas to the Managers, Directors, VPs and CIO.
Responsibilities of the role will include, but may not be limited to:
Review financial spreadsheets and other reports in order to predict current and future financial performance, carry out analysis of actual results to forecast/ budget and provide variance explanations
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data from various source systems
Develop monthly financial forecasts with Sr. Directors and program managers based on current performance and expected activities using the Apptio reporting tool
Reviews PSS and SRs in the Tenet Billing application to ensure proper coding and documentation.
Minimum 3 to 5 years Finance experience
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
Ability to effectively interact with PMO and key project stakeholders
Ability to articulate best practice financial management controls
Excellent financial modeling capabilities
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing project budgets, forecasts and results
High Proficiency in Excel is a must ï¿½ with upper intermediate to advanced skill level, pivot tables, graphing, vlookup, nested statements
Experience/ Knowledge of accounting rules (GAAP)
Familiarity with Access database, Visio, PowerPoint is a plus
Experience documenting processes and workflows
Must be able to meet deadlines and handle stress
Ability to hold important information in confidence
Bachelors required ï¿½ Finance or Accounting Degree
CPA/MBA a plus as are other relevant professional certification(s) (e.g., ITFMA)
