Tenet Healthcare seeks an experienced HR Assistant to support the hospital staffing operation, nationwide. This role will sit in the Florida staffing office located near Florida Medical Center in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
SUPERVISOR ï¿½ Director, Tenet Resource Agency
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
ï¿½Maintains applicant selection and pre-employment/post-offer screening processes and procedures.
ï¿½Oversees and manages pre-placement testing and clinical assessments annually.
ï¿½Manages employee credentialing process and ensures that employees meet pre-placement requirements.
ï¿½Ensures compliance with corporate policies.
ï¿½Conducts disciplinary action, employee remediation, initiates employee improvement plan and recommends corrective action as necessary.
ï¿½Responsible for conducting involuntary terminations.
ï¿½Ensures employees data bases are up to date including data changes, personnel information and status changes.
ï¿½Ensures compliance with Fair Labor Standards in administration of all compensation practices.
ï¿½Ensures completion and recordkeeping of OIG/GSA reports.
ï¿½Prepares various reports as requested.
ï¿½Responsible for the communication and implementation of new /updated required HR policies and procedures and corporate directives.
ï¿½Participates in internal HR audits as required.
ï¿½Anticipate and provide resolution to issues based on the needs and expectations of our customers.
ï¿½Collaborates with Tenet facility management teams on corrective actions. Provides coaching and counseling to field based employees and follows chain of command to get issues resolved.
ï¿½Completes goals established during prior year evaluation.
ï¿½Maintains confidentiality and appropriate access of all employee information.
ï¿½Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
ï¿½Responds to supervisor and co-workers requests for information and assistance in cooperative manner and within appropriate time frame.
ï¿½Channels concerns appropriately thru chain of command, deals with conflict appropriately in a private manner.
ï¿½Treats others with respect at all times; maintains a work environment free of harassment, hostility or violence.
ï¿½Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES ï¿½ This position requires the following minimal requirements:
ï¿½Excellent oral and written communication skills
ï¿½Ability to multi-task
ï¿½Ability to work well within a team environment
ï¿½Ability to develop and implementing training curriculum per Tenet requirements
ï¿½Experience using office productivity software tools like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
ï¿½Experience with relational databases, data analysis and report writing
ï¿½Maintains working area and equipment in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
EDUCATION ï¿½High School Diploma or GED Required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE ï¿½ Three to five years HR experience required.
