Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a full-time Genetic Counselor to provide genetic counseling services in both traditional clinical genetics and cancer risk genetics service line. Responsibilities will include assessment, development of pedigree, identification and coordination of testing including prior authorization, report production, pre- and post-test counseling, communication with referring providers and community education.
Our team provides care in our NCQA-recognized level III Patient Centered Medical Home. Our office locations are located in newly renovated facilities close to main hospital campus. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or related field with experience in clinical genetics. At least one year professional experience in a busy practice across clinical and cancer genetic service lines preferred.
