The UT MD Anderson Cancer Center is recruiting for an open rank, term tenure track faculty position in the Department of Radiation Oncology, with an anticipated start date of September 2019. This position will be appointed and credentialed through the Department of Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson. The major clinical focus for this faculty will be on the treatment of thoracic malignancies. The successful applicant will assist in the development and enhancement of the department's ability to provide clinical expertise in the multidisciplinary care of patients and other symptoms associated with their radiation treatment. The successful applicant will develop a robust clincal/translational research program that advances the therapeutic paradigm. Faculty are also expected to participate in the teaching of faculty, fellows and residents. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a cutting edge clinical environment, engage in clinical and/or laboratory research and teach. Applicants at all ranks will be considered.
Must have ABR certification, hold a Texas Medical License or be able to obtain a Texas Medical License and legally eligible to work in the United States. A minimum of 5 years experience post degree is required.
