As one of the first Genetic Counseling roles to be hired at Phosphorus, there will be an array of responsibilities ranging from clinical to product and medical affairs. We ultimately want a dynamic, driven, and self-starting individual who can work well in a dynamic environment. As this is a startup, early on we expect you to wear many hats and contribute across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working directly with our operations and customer service team to ensure that patient inquiries that require the input of a Genetic Counselor are answered promptly and responsibly.
Working with our sales and client success teams to ensure that referring providers’ and partnered institutions’ questions about our tests and services are answered in a timely and accurate manner.
Working with sales and product leadership to drive continuous internal education and training of our sales and business development teams.
Providing clinical support to our laboratory team as needed.
Working collaboratively with the bioengineering, medical affairs, laboratory and sales team on medical affairs objectives, including but not limited to: abstracts, conference attendance, publications, and advisory engagement.
A Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited training program and willingness to relocate to our NYC office.
Board certification completed or to be completed during the first year at Phosphorus.
0 - 2 years of experience out of Genetic Counseling program. While experience is preferred, entry-level candidates encouraged to apply as well.

Demonstrated success in authoring and publishing abstract, scientific research or other contributions to the publication process.
