The NCI designated Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas is currently accepting applications for a full time clinical cancer genetic counselor.
This position will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of experts to provide personalized patient care. The individual will provide comprehensive genetic counseling for patients at high risk for hereditary cancer syndromes. This includes pedigree analysis, assessing the need for genetic testing, coordination of genetic testing send outs, counseling on genetic test results, as well as performing cancer risk assessments for unaffected individuals.

The preferred candidate should have excellent communication skills, time management, interpersonal skills and enjoy collaboration with patients and colleagues. Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
Requirements: Master's Degree in Genetic Counselor or its equivalent. ABGC Board Certified or Board eligible. At least 1 year of employment as a Genetic Counselor specializing in Cancer is preferred.
