Providence is calling a Quality Review Specialist - Physical Therapist (Home Health Shared Services, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Senior and Community Services. In this position you will:
Work remotely to support multiple home health agencies to improve quality metrics.
Verify appropriate documentation, compliance and quality of care provided.
Ensure adherence to the plan of care and identify document deficiency trends using a proactive approach.
Serve as a role model, consultant, auditor and OASIS expert to staff in the Providence Senior and Community Services (PSCS) Home Health Service Line.
Audit charts for clinical oversight and compliance, and adherence to Medicare guidelines.
Work closely with the Clinical Educator for Home Health and collaborate with clinical leadership to prepare new hires during initial orientation re
Requiredqualifications for this position include:
Current Washington State Physical Therapist (PT) licensure
Current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current certification in OASIS (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
Current Washington State driver's license and automobile insurance
Three (3) years of recent clinical experience
Experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
Working knowledge of Medicare home health requirements
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
Preferred Qualifications for this position include:
Master's/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
Previous staff leadership/coaching experience
