Providence is calling a Program Manager - Clinical Orthopedic Institute to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
Portland, Oregon -- Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking an excellent nurse practitioner to act as program manager for the Clinical Orthopedic Institute housed on our campus. This full-time position will help implement regional Orthopedic strategies in musculoskeletal service lines across all Oregon ministries to ensure quality outcomes, support / lead interdisciplinary care teams and engage physicians in growth and development of efficient, effective and value added orthopedic services. Ideal candidate will have six years of experience practicing in acute, outpatient or other Orthopedic environment, as well as three years of experience in a supervisory role. Qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Registered Nurse Practitioner (RNP)
Unencumbered professional licensure of Nursingin the State of Oregon
6 years of experience practicing in acute, outpatient or other medical care environment in Orthopedics
3 years of experience in a supervisory role -or- equivalent years of experience/education in management, finance, and/or other administrative functions
Experience and skill in conflict resolution
History of working independently, with minimal supervision
Experience working with physician practice operations and surgeons
Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Experience as a project team leader
Ability to manage and develop clinical, non-clinical, and technical talent in the Orthopedics field
Valid Oregon driver's license
