Providence is calling a Quality Management and Medical Staff Services Director to work at our Providence Medford Medical Center location in Medford, OR.
Providence Medford Medical Center is a Level 3 Trauma Center with 168 licensed beds. It's also home to one of the only Joint Commission Advanced Certification Primary Stroke Centers, and has received Joint Commission Disease Specific Care Certification for total hip and knee replacements.

In this position, you will:
Provide leadership, management, and direction to the Hospital(s).
Ensure high reliability, quality, and patient safety in care delivery consistent with the mission of Providence, goals and objectives of the Oregon region to better meet the needs of citizens of Oregon for quality health services.
Work collaboratively with the Oregon Region Quality Management/Medical Staff Services (ORQMMSS).
Manage systems for monitoring quality performance including data collection and information reporting.
Be responsible to serve as liaison to external agencies such as the State of Oregon, Joint Commission, Accumentra and state licensing boards.
Be accountable for:
Planning, Development and Implementation of Quality Management, Medical Staff services and Risk Management and improvement programs.
Development of annual budgets: Quality and Medical Staff services.
Providing direct supervision and evaluation for respective employees.
Performance of all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept reflects the Mission and the core values of the Sister of Providence.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
7 years of hospital experience, including knowledge of management principles, facilitation and project management
Progressive leadership and management experience
5 years of experience in Quality Management -or- an equivalent combination or education and experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in Medical Staff Organization
