Providence is calling a Medical Assistant I (Full Time) for the Providence Medical Institute Cardiology in Burbank, CA.
In this position you will:
Under the direct medical supervision of a physician, implement delegated aspects of care and assist in both direct and indirect patient care.
May care for newborn up to geriatric patients
Required qualifications for this position include:
Successful completion of an accredited medical assistant training program or foreign licensed RN or LVN.
Current BCLS Card
Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT Coding
Good communication skills. Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.
Able to use Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One year of general medical assisting experience
