Providence is calling a Per Diem, Variable shift Phlebotomist to Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA.
In this position you will:
Performs some or all of the following duties as directed by the Team leader: Performs phlebotomy; Coordinates collection of blood specimens from patients, may assist in specimen information processing and receiving of specimens, reports, and other departmental data.
Required qualifications for this position include:
California DHS Phlebotomy License or equivalent.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association.
Six (6) months phlebotomy experience.
One (1) year office work experience.
One (1) year laboratory experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or College credits toward an advanced degree.
Six (6) months acute care hospital experience.
