Job Responsibilities: Working with a dynamic team of nurse navigators, radiologists, surgeons, surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and other physicians who serve a diverse patient base you will:
• Conduct pre- and post-test genetic counseling and risk assessment for breast and other hereditary cancers • Participate in various tumor board conferences and committees • Provide presentations regarding cancer genetics to other providers and to organizations within the local community • Work to develop and expand the cancer genetic counseling program
Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling, Human Genetics or Medical Genetics from an accredited American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) training program • ABGC Board Certified or Board Eligible
Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years of experience in providing cancer genetic counseling • Fluency in English and Spanish
