The Jackson Laboratory Clinical Education Program (CEP), a division of The Jackson Laboratory Genomic Education, is seeking a medical writer for collaborative education development on topics in precision medicine and genomic testing. The medical writer will work closely with the CEP team and external collaborators, including content experts (genetic counselors, medical geneticists, oncologists, and other specialists), and an instructional designer, to develop genomics-focused CME for healthcare providers.
CEP collaborates with clinicians, organizations, and training programs to develop education that supports the integration of genomics into clinical practice. The current project involves writing content for online case-based educational modules for a broad clinician audience (e.g., primary care providers, specialists, nurses). The topics may include whole genome sequencing, pharmacogenomics, neurogenomics, and cardiogenomics. Learn more at www.jax.org/ccep and www.jax.org/cepm.
