Candidates must have a Masters degree in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling from an approved training program and be ABGC/ABMG Board Certified/Board Eligible. This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE). Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
The primary responsibility of this position is providing prenatal and preconception genetic counseling to a diverse population in the Maternal & Fetal Care Center at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital, a tertiary prenatal center serving high risk prenatal patients. There are additional opportunities for prenatal genetic counseling and case management at satellite clinics and via telemedicine in the region. This is a faculty position through the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and genetic counselors are actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, fellows and allied health professionals. Opportunities to participate in clinical research with other Division members exist.
