Norton Cancer Institute, a part of Norton Healthcare, currently is recruiting genetic counselors to join its Norton Genetic Counseling Services practice. This team provides genetic counseling and testing, cancer risk assessments and education to cancer patients and individuals with a family history of cancer at multiple locations in Louisville, Kentucky. Plans are in place to expand the practice to include prenatal, cardiovascular and pediatric genetic services. A strong network of referrals is in place through Norton Cancer Institute, which offers multidisciplinary cancer care across multiple specialties, and Norton Medical Group, which employs more than 1,000 primary and specialty care medical providers.
About the position:
Practice currently provides outpatient genetic counseling services to adult cancer patients and individuals with a family history of cancer
Future plans are in place to expand genetic services to multiple service lines

Master’s degree from a genetic counseling program accredited by the American Board of Genetic Counseling
Must obtain temporary Genetic Counselor license within 30 days of hire.
Must obtain Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) credential within 12 months of hire.
