Norton Medical Group is currently recruiting genetic counselors to join its Genetic Counseling Services practice. This team provides genetic counseling and testing, cancer risk assessments and education to cancer patients and/or individuals with a family history of cancer at multiple Norton Healthcare locations in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to providing genetic services for cancer, plans are in place to expand the Genetic Counseling Services practice to include prenatal, cardiovascular and pediatric genetic services. A strong network of referrals is in place through Norton Cancer Institute, which offers multidisciplinary cancer care across multiple specialists, and Norton Medical Group, which employs more than 900 primary and specialty care medical providers.
About the positions:
• Practice currently provides outpatient genetic counseling services to adult cancer patients and/or individuals with a family history of cancer
• Management opportunities exist for candidates interested in developing and growing a genetic counseling practice
• Future plans are in place to expand genetic services to multiple service lines

Requirements for these positions:
Master’s degree from a genetic counseling program accredited by the American Board of Genetic Counseling
American Board of Genetic Counseling eligible
Satisfactory completion of clinical rotations required for a master’s degree
