Assist medical geneticist with genetic diagnosis and follow-up. Provide independent counseling to patients and families as assigned. Provides professional and community outreach education. Provides care for patients according to the standards of care specific to age and the individual's needs.
Experience in and knowledge of human genetics, particularly its clinical aspects; genetic counseling, and experience in working with patients and their families. Experience or training in teaching, and/or education.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Certification as a genetic counselor by the American Board of Medical Genetics or other recognized certifying body.
